It has been a while since Thanksgiving.  All of us are into the season of "giving and getting;" but, are we still thankful of our God given blessings?  Shouldn't everyday be a day of thanksgiving to God?

It seems that, although we have all digested our turkey, there is a lot to be thankful for: broken shoelaces, schoolwork, backed-up toilets and late night dripping faucets, fender benders, medical procedures, burdensome workloads, domestic disputes, and alarm-clocks on Mondays.

Broken shoelaces, because they mean that you own shoes.

Schoolwork, because it means that you had/are getting an education.

Backed-up toilets and late night dripping faucets, because they mean that you have plumbing and sanitation.

Fender benders, because they mean that you own a car.

Medical procedures, because they mean that you can afford them.

Burdensome workloads, because they mean that you are employed.

Domestic disputes, because they mean that you have a family.

Alarm-clocks on Mondays, because they mean that you are still alive.
